Virtual Cuba Tradeshow
We are working on organizing virtual tradeshow featuring businesses, organizations, travel
agencies and individuals that would like to meet with others who share their interests in Cuba.
We are trying to secure a Founding Sponsor that will provide us with the resources to make this virtual tradeshow a
reality.
We are also talking with several potential key note speakers as well as other parties that will host a variety of
learning tracks.
Our idea is to build a professional web conferencing platform that will look and feel like a real tradeshow without
having everyone meet in one physical location. Think video meets chat meets blogging meets remote learning. Oh
yeah, throw in some good old fashion networking too.
Our first tradeshow will be a one day event. Check back for updates or contact us if you want to be a Founding
Sponsor or if you have expertise that would benefit our group of people interested in Cuba business, culture,
politics and travel related issues. Our corporate parent, Havana Journal Inc., hosted a Learn About Cuba seminar in September 2008 and is planning a large Cuba conference in Massachusetts in June 2010.
If you have recommendations for the best web conferencing software that includes live video streams, let us know
since we are actively researching the best format for this online event.
